Hey All, the time is drawing near for the Cliff Run! Heidi and I were out on the course yesterday, reminded of both the spectacular beauty and the audacious challenge of all that climbing and descending. Here is a shot from near the top of the Red Ridge.
The classic 5-mile course is also a roller-coaster and a worthy challenge in it's own right. Will you be recovering from another tough race, or just don't like to race up 20% grades? You can volunteer! We'd love to have you at an aid station, registration or what have you. Even if you don't volunteer we'll still love you anyway.
This is the site for the Kismet Cliff Run, a challenging annual trail race in North Conway, New Hampshire. This year we have added an optional, even tougher course. The new loop climbs and descends the beautiful granite ledges of the Red Ridge trail and North Moat Mountain, making for a total of 14 miles and over 4,000 feet of elevation gain.
