Hey All, the time is drawing near for the Cliff Run!  Heidi and I were out on the course yesterday, reminded of both the spectacular beauty and the audacious challenge of all that climbing and descending.  Here is a shot from near the top of the Red Ridge.
The classic 5-mile course is also a roller-coaster and a worthy challenge in it's own right.  Will you be recovering from another tough race, or just don't like to race up 20% grades?  You can volunteer!  We'd love to have you at an aid station, registration or what have you.  Even if you don't volunteer we'll still love you anyway.

  2. how many aid stations will there be on the beast of the east long course? from reading the course description, i see only two mentioned, but they both come in relatively early...

    1. Hello, there will be a 3rd, self-service water/ade station by Lucy Brook after finishing the descent off North Moat. That would make the longest stretch about 5.4 miles between AS2 and AS3. Hope you come out, shaping up to be an interesting field!
